I get rid of my scrap metal here all the time. Good prices, helpful staff. Just be very careful of where you drive to dump your scrap iron. There's a lot of debris and activity going on at all times. Poor customer service and communication regarding the pickup of my vehicle. I scheduled a pickup through Peddle for a four hour window on a Saturday afternoon.  I received a message from Klein the morning of stating that they don't operate within the set hours and could I reschedule for an earlier time. I tried to call them back I was put on hold and subsequently hung up on. Further calls went unanswered that day. I rescheduled with peddle for a week later and for an earlier window to accommodate Klein business hours but received no correspondence from Klein. As such I decided to call them with an hour left in the pickup window. The customer service person was pleasant enough and informed me that they were overbooked for that day, and my vehicle would not be picked up. I was told that I would not have been informed of this if I had not called Klein myself as they hadn't checked my reservation until I called.  I was told to schedule directly with Klein and not Peddle going forward.

Updated: The vehicle was picked up at the newly agreed upon time and the driver, Juan, was phenomenal. He was very personable and knowledgeable.

I’ve been using Klein for years, it has been some years since the last time. As with my searches to get the most out of my vehicle, with all due respect, there’s nothing better than talking to live people and educated people doing their job properly. Hey, there was a few that were automated they lose because they do not use live people and contact you hours later and it’s still automated. Everyone has a process I’m gonna stand by people that employee people and not the automation part of it. It’s taking away jobs from people. Everyone has their rights. I read a few reviews. I’m very happy to hear. I read a couple. Klein has  been here for years making things easy for the people and people getting satisfaction where they can get money for an old refrigerator rather than pay extra for garbage pick up of an old refrigerator. As to complain about noise, grinding and more, you should check out the area first before you move into the area. Air, pollution, noise, pollution. Let me tell you about patriot field every weekend the fireworks go off that’s polluting, which is also toxic. You’re going to report every vehicle. I found this one, so disgraceful for someone to leave a comment like this. So please don’t condemn one without the others, if you don’t like it move, Klien is so helpful to the community polite and well mannered, and very helpful with the process of everything.
